Art Nouveau, my long time obsession!

So, here's the basics on Art Nouveau. It is an artistic movement that was most popular between 1880 and 1910, but is very popular and highly collectable today! Art Nouveau is French for "New Art", which was basically a movement that drew inspiration from nature. Popular images in Art Nouveau are dragonflies, flowers, birds, curvilinear lines, and the Femme Fatale. It was most popular in Europe, but also made it's mark in the US, where Louis Comfort Tiffany created his spectacular stained glass lamps! Here are some representations of Art Nouveau. I've tried to cover all the areas, architecture, print, stained glass, pottery, furniture and fine art but there are so many more. There was even Art Nouveau style clothing!
